It’s been a long while since FCS sang Verdi’s monumental Requiem. That time it was with their colleagues from Birkenhead, and lots of youngsters from Merchant Taylors’ – at the Philharmonic Hall in Liverpool. This time they’re on their own – and I’m really looking forward to hearing this special arrangement of Verdi’s orchestration which should allow us to hear the choir in all its glory.
