This year’s summer concert will mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, with music which was performed at the Coronation in 1953, as well as pieces reflecting the British Isles, with a nod also to the wider Commonwealth. There will be pieces in there just because they’re good fun for us to sing, and enjoyable to the audience to listen to!

Music from Britten, Vaughan-Williams, Parry, Stanford, Elgar, Mascagni, Rutter, Chilcott and the Beatles.

We are thrilled to have Formby Band joining us – and invite you to start searching out your flags for waving during the Last Night of the Proms sort of finale!
Some small Union Jack flags will be available at the door … but if you’ve got your own … the bigger the better – bring it!
